Description
“Gajar ka Halwa,” also known as Carrot Pudding, is a carrot-based dessert from India. This recipe has been perfected in our family over the years. Grated carrots and milk are slow-cooked on a low flame for several hours before the final preparation. The finished pudding is garnished with cardamom, almonds, flakes, cashews, and pistachio.
The dessert is traditionally a part of all of the festivals in India, especially on the occasion of Diwali, and Raksha Bandhan.
It is an all-natural recipe that doesn’t use any preservatives or harmful additives. Best served hot.
