Dal Kachori – Bikaner Style
Dal Kachori, also known as Khasta Kachori, is a staple snack from Rajasthan — enjoyed for breakfast, with evening tea, or even as a full meal. In cities like Bikaner and Jodhpur, it’s not unusual to see long queues outside kachori shops, especially during monsoon season, waiting for a hot plate and a cup of chai.
Hard to describe, easy to love — this fried, flaky pastry is filled with spiced lentils and a mix of bold, earthy herbs. If you’ve never tried one, you’re missing out on one of India’s most iconic snacks.
Divine Bites Dal Kachoris are prepared using a traditional recipe from a small kachori shop in Bikaner. The same place where one of our founders grew up.
Pairs well with chai, coffee, or even a cold drink.
